The Nashville Predators head to the TD Garden for a matchup with the Boston Bruins tonight. Puck-drop between the two sides is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. EST.

The Predators come in still fighting for a possible wild card spot in the postseason but they will need a lot to go right for them to make it in. They find themselves a few games back of the final spot so making sure to get both points tonight, could go a long way. However, they do face the best team in the NHL on the road so it could be a challenge for this team that has had inconsistency all year long. They come having lost two straight so needless to say, tonight is a must win for Nashville to keep their playoff hopes alive.

The league-leading Bruins come into this game just a few wins shy of the all time NHL record in a season. Boston has been dominant since the opening jump of the year and they haven’t slowed down one bit. They play strong on both sides of the ice and it’s a constant struggle for the opposing teams to play them. This team knows what is at stake regarding the record so making sure they won’t take the Predators lightly will go a long way. Boston has talent up and down their roster so if they focus, they should be able to come away with the win at home.

Prediction: Boston Bruins 3, Nashville Predators 2

I like the Bruins to keep things rolling here as they inch closer to possibly breaking the all time NHL win record for a season.
