National Rugby League Odds Week 2: Odds for New Zealand vs. Canberra, Sydney vs. Manly

With Week 1 underway in the National Rugby League, we can start to see who’s for real and who isn’t in the competition with another set of results.

The Canberra Raiders head to Auckland to face the New Zealand Warriors tonight. Canberra picked up a 24-6 win over the Gold Coast Eagles in Week 1, while the Warriors were shut out 20-0 at the Newcastle Knights to open the season.

Josh Hodgson led the Raiders with 40 tackles in Week 1, while Jack Wighton tacked on two tries.

And later this morning the Manly Sea Eagles are off to Sydney to take on the Roosters. Sydney didn’t score a try in the last hour of play during their 20-14 loss to the Penrith Panthers in Week 1, while the Melbourne Storm held Manly without a try in their 18-4 loss to open the season. Both teams will try to get back on track, with the punters favoring Sydney at home by a half-point less than a converted try.
