NBA 2022: LA Lakers, Golden State, Nets struggle as Bucks, Cavaliers and Jazz flourish

The NBA is full of Big Threes. Los Angeles Lakers, Brooklyn Nets and Golden State Warriors are the most successful teams in the league. Milwaukee Bucks, Utah Jazz and Cleveland Cavaliers are winning games. The Nets are struggling. NBA in 2022 is about being disjointed, unharmonious, inefficient and chaotic. It's about winning and losing. NBA teams are drawn to the spotlight. They get attention by being chaotic and disorganized. Utah is the only team that is not. Jazz are 10-3 in Western Conference. Nets 5-7.

Brooklyn Nets are in trouble. Kevin Durant requested a trade over the summer. There are rumours about Irving's support of an anti-Semitic post and his refusal to fully apologise. Brooklyn's aim is to become more of a basketball franchise than a soap opera.

The NBA is obsessed with being the centre of attention. The old Showtime Lakers and the Last Dance Chicago Bulls were able to marry upheaval and fascination with excellence.
