NBA best bets and props from around the league

After a couple of nights dedicated to the quarterfinals of the NBA’s in-season tournament, we have a relatively large slate of 11 games this Tuesday night. With this many games, there are endless possibilities for NBA betting.

What we like to do here, is scan the best sportsbooks in Pennsylvania, find bets that stick out to us as good values, and then find which sportsbook actually offers you the best value. Here are our best bets for Wednesday night.

The Hawks have been sliding, the Nets have been surging, they played against each other two weeks ago in Atlanta (a two-point overtime win for the Hawks), and the Hawks are now favored by 3.5 tonight.

The Nets have quite a few betting trends working for them going into tonight’s game. They’ve covered the spread in 5 of their last 6 games and are 15-5 in their last 20 games against Atlanta. The Hawks on the other hand have only covered the spread once in their last 9 games and also failed to cover in their last 6 home games.

With all of these trends pointing in the Nets’ direction, and the spread set at only 3.5, you may as well take the +140 odds on the moneyline from Caesars. Caesars Sportsbook offers some of the best odds in the industry.

This is a big spread, and the Warriors are not playing that well right now. After starting the season 6-2, they’re only 3-9 over the last month. That stretch did coincide with an injury to Stephen Curry, but he was only out for two games. The Warriors’ last three wins have all been at home, but each game was within 6 points. In fact, they haven’t won by 13 points or more since October 31st.

Additionally, Portland is on a little bit of a hot streak of their own, winning 3 of their last 5 games and covering the spread in 4. Many of the big sportsbooks are offering a 12.5 point spread, but you get an extra half point with FanDuel who have the Blazers at +13. To learn more about what FanDuel offers, .

It feels like not enough is being said about the Minnesota Timberwolves. After finishing 8th in the Western Conference last season and being bounced in the first round (4-1) by the eventual NBA Champs, The Wolves look like a new team this year. Anthony Edwards looks to have taken another step forward as a scorer, and he and Karl-Anthony Towns seem to finally be gelling into a rhythm.

Towns’ line tonight of 22.5 points is just 0.3 points less than his season average so far, and he’s going up against the third-worst defense in the league. He’s crushed that mark in his last two games, scoring 28 and 32 points respectively against the Hornets and the Jazz. BetMGM Sportsbook offers you the best combination of line and odds for a Karl-Anthony Towns points over bet.
