NBA best bets today (76ers will challenge Bucks in Milwaukee)

There are only six games in the NBA to watch and bet on today, but I have a few picks that I love for the betting slate.

I have a little bit of everything for you all tonight. One spread, one total, and one player prop.

Let’s dive right into them.

NBA best bets for March 4th

  • Zach Collins OVER 0.5 steals
  • 76ers +5 vs. Bucks
  • Timberwolves/Kings UNDER 237.5

Zach Collins OVER 0.5 steals

Steals props have become some of my favorite bets to place in the NBA and the Rockets are one of my favorite teams to fade when it comes to these types of props.

The Rockets rank dead last in the NBA in opponent steals per game, allowing their opponents to grab 8.3 steals per game. That’s the most in the NBA by 0.6 steals a game.

Now consider the fact Zack Collins has at least one steal in six of his last seven games, with two of those being multi-steal performances. I love the bet for him to record at least one tonight.

76ers +5 vs. Bucks

The Bucks are on a 16-game win streak, but I think that makes them overvalued from a betting perspective. Milwaukee isn’t as good of a shooting team as you might think, ranking just 14th in the NBA in effective field goal percentage.

The Bucks butter their bread on defense, ranking second in defensive efficiency, but the 76ers aren’t far behind, coming in at sixth.

I think the 76ers can hang with the Bucks tonight. They may not win, but if this game is a close one like I expect, covering the five point spread shouldn’t be much of an issue.

Timberwolves/Kings UNDER 237.5

The Minnesota Timberwolves rank inside the tp 10 in the NBA in defensive efficiency. Sacramento may not have those numbers, but there’s one key stat that the Kings lead the NBA in, and that’s opponent fast break points per game, giving up an average of only 11.5 per contest.

Fast break points play a big role in a total going OVER, so with it set all the way up at 237.5, I think both of these teams have any green flags on defense for me to take the UNDER.

Odds refresh periodically and are subject to change.
