NBA picks: Heat vs. Raptors prediction, odds, over/under, spread, injury report for Wednesday, Dec. 6

The Miami Heat (11-9) go on the road to face the Toronto Raptors (9-11) on Wednesday. Tipoff from Scotiabank Arena in Toronto is set for 7:30 p.m. ET, with the game airing on local TV.

Miami will be without three players as they didn’t make the trip to Toronto. Point guard Tyler Herro will miss the game due to an ankle injury, and power forward Haywood Highsmith didn’t travel due to back spasms. The biggest missing piece is center Bam Adebayo, who is dealing with a hip injury.

Toronto has a light injury report. Only center Christian Koloko is expected to miss the game due to an illness. Forward Ron Harper Jr. is day-to-day with an illness and shoulder injury.

The Raptors are 4-point favorites at DraftKings Sportsbook. Toronto is installed at -180 on the moneyline, while Miami is the +150 underdog. The point total is 220.

With these numbers, plus the players that didn’t travel for Miami, Toronto should cover.

The Heat will be without two of their top three scorers without Herro and Adebayo. Both teams rank in the bottom 11 in the league for teams whose games have hit the over, both at 50%. This is a low point total, and still, it feels like the under is the move.
