NBA picks: Raptors vs. Knicks prediction, odds, over/under, spread, injury report for Monday, Dec. 11

Brunson is set to play for the Knicks, who are 4-point favorites with the total set at 221.5. I still like Knicks -4 and the under, especially with Brunson in the lineup.

Atlantic division rivals collide when the Toronto Raptors (9-13) visit the New York Knicks (12-9) Monday evening. Both teams are on losing streaks at the moment, with the Raptors dropping their last three and the Knicks falling in their last two. The Raptors and Knicks met earlier this month, with New York grabbing a 119-106 victory.

Knicks star point guard Jalen Brunson is listed as questionable with an ankle sprain, while big man Mitchell Robinson has been ruled out with an ankle issue of his own.

The Knicks are 4.5-point favorites at DraftKings Sportsbook, with the total coming in at 221. New York is -180 on the moneyline, while Toronto is +150.

Raptors vs. Knicks, 7:30 p.m. ET

Pick ATS: Knicks -4.5

The calculus on this will change if Brunson is unable to suit up, as he’s the engine for New York’s offense averaging 24.8 points and 5.5 assists per game. The Knicks are 4-4-1 ATS at home and 4-4 ATS as the home favorite, but they’re 6-3 straight up at Madison Square Garden. The Raptors are 3-7 straight up as the road team this season, and have 4-5-1 ATS mark on the road. They are 3-4-1 ATS as the road underdog. The Knicks were able to win and cover on the road in the last meeting between these sides, and I’ll take them to do the same tonight as long as Brunson suits up.

Over/Under: Under 221

The previous meeting did go over this mark, but I’ll back the Knicks’ defense at home to put the clamps on Toronto. New York is fifth in defensive rating at home, and the Raptors rank 19th in points per game on the road. Toronto is also solid enough defensively to keep this total under 221.
