NBA picks: Thunder vs. Heat prediction, odds, over/under, spread, injury report for Wednesday, Jan. 10

The Oklahoma City Thunder will take on the Miami Heat on Wednesday, January 10 with tipoff scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET from the Kaseya Center in Miami. The Thunder (24-11) broke a two-game losing streak with a 136-128 win over the Wizards in their latest game, and the Heat (21-15) are coming off a 120-113 win over the Rockets.

Kyle Lowry (hand) and Caleb Martin (ankle) are both listed as doubtful for the Heat, while Jimmy Butler is out with a foot injury. On the Thunder side, Davis Bertans (illness) is questionable.

The Thunder enter as 4.5-point road favorites at DraftKings Sportsbook, with the total set at 234. Oklahoma City is -180 on the moneyline while Miami is +150.

Thunder vs. Heat, 7:30 p.m. ET

Pick ATS: Thunder -4.5

The Thunder have been absolutely dominating in the NBA this season offensively. They rank fourth in the league in points per game (122.2), second in shooting percentage (50.4%), and first in three-point shooting percentage (39.7%). The Heat will be missing Butler and Lowry in this matchup, which will make things easier for Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the rest of the Thunder offense to keep humming. The Heat have averaged just 109 points per game in their last three games, and they will struggle to keep up with OKC. Take the Thunder to cover here.

Over/Under: Under 234

The Heat have not been able to find the basket much in their last few games. While Oklahoma City is one of the highest scoring teams in the league, Miami is 17-19 on the over this season and 1-5 on the over in its last six games. With the Heat having homecourt advantage, I like the under to hit again here, as OKC may not be able to run up the score as much as it would like.
