NBA player props: Best bets for Friday, December 15 featuring LeBron, Devin Booker, Pascal Siakam, more

We’ve got eight games on Friday’s NBA slate, anchored by a doubleheader on ESPN featuring the Lakers, Spurs, Knicks and SunsDraftKings Sportsbook.

LeBron James over 43.5 points + rebounds + assists vs. Spurs (-115)

James didn’t play in Wednesday’s contest against San Antonio, resting his calf injury on the second night of a back-to-back set. He has played through this issue outside of that one instance, so he should be out there tonight despite being officially listed as questionable. The King has topped this mark in two of the last three games, with the lone under coming at 43 PRA. He’s averaging 27.9 points, 7.5 rebounds and 7.5 assists per game over his career against the Spurs, and I’ll back him to do just enough to top this line after a few days off.

Myles Turner over 1.5 3-pointers vs. Wizards (+110)

The Pacers big man has not shot the triple well this season, hitting just 33% of his attempts from deep. However, he gets an excellent matchup Friday night against the Wizards. Washington is not great at defending the perimeter, allowing opponents to shoot 37.3% from range. Look for Turner to make a couple from deep in this contest. He’s gone over this line in three of his last four games.

Pascal Siakam over 25.5 points vs. Hawks (-110)

Siakam has been on a bit of a scoring run lately, averaging 25.2 points per game over his last six contests. He went for 33 points and seven rebounds in Wednesday’s win over the Hawks, so there’s no reason to think he can’t repeat that scoring effort Friday. The Hawks are allowing 123.3 points per game this season, ranking 28th in the league. This is a good spot for Siakam to keep filling it up.

Devin Booker over 7.5 assists vs. Knicks (-115)

Since returning to the court from his second stint with an ankle injury, Booker is averaging 7.9 assists per game. He’s topped this line just once in the last five games but three of the unders came at exactly seven assists. With Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal in the lineup Wednesday, Booker dished out 12 assists. He’s likely to have that distributor role with these scorers beside him and with everyone set to play again Friday, I like Booker to top this mark.

Jabari Smith Jr. over 9.5 rebounds vs. Grizzlies (+110)

Things didn’t work out so well when I backed Alperen Sengun to get over 10.5 rebounds against Memphis last time, with the big man falling one rebound short. This time, I’ll take Smith Jr. to hit double-digit boards. The second-year forward has been crushing it on the glass of late, going over this mark in four straight games averaging 12.5 rebounds per game. It’s a favorable matchup with Memphis having depth issues down low, and Smith grabbed 10 boards in the last meeting.
