NBA Preview: Nets take to TNT as they look to build some momentum against the Bulls

Brooklyn Nets beat the Indiana Pacers on Monday night. Brooklyn is 2-5 and will play the Chicago Bulls on TNT.  Kevin Durant scored 36 points for the Pacers. Joe Harris and Yuta Watanabe played well down the stretch.

The Nets play the Knicks on Tuesday night on TNT and WFAN-FM.

Ben Simmons is injured for the Nets. Zach LaVine will play for Bulls. Lonzo Ball continues his rehab. Ayo Dosunmu is day-to-day. Andre Drummond is out. Goran Dragic will be playing.

Nets beat the Pacers in Game 2. Brooklyn's defense was better. Chicago hasn't played since Saturday. The Bulls are 3-4 and their defense is the sixth worst. They are giving up 119 points per game. Ben Simmons and Seth Curry are expected to play. Kyrie Irving is under pressure. He promoted an antisemetic video last week. They might be suspended. Nets take on the Bulls on TNT.

The Nets take on the Bulls on TNT. The Bulls have been inconsistent this season. They had a 2-win streak and then a back-to-back losses.

DeMar DeRozan and Zach Lavine are the Bulls' main scorers. Lavines has played only four games this season, but when he plays he scores 22.5 points.

Nikola Vucevic is a player to watch in the Nets game. Nic Claxton will be tested by him.

LaVine has shown some flashes in his first four games. He's shooting 46.4 percent on 7 3-point attempts per game and getting to the line 6.3 times per contest. However, his finishing skills are below his career 65. 3 percent shooting at the rim and 16.7 percent between 3 and 10 feet.

The Nets are 1-point favorites against the Bulls. The Nets have a poor record against spread this season (1-6). The Bulls are middling at 13th in the DRTG with a 111.1 DR TG. Both teams can score a lot of points. The over/under is 231. My heart and head are leaning towards taking the Nets at -1 and the OVER (231). Michael Jordan's performance in Game 3 of the 1998 first round against New Jersey is worth watching.
