NBA PrizePicks Player Predictions: Sunday (4/9)

Although the Eastern Conference is all figured out, a lot can happen in the Western Conference today.

The Clippers. Warriors, Lakers, and Pelicans are all fighting for two spots outside of the Play-In Tournament. The Clippers and Warriors are a game in front of the Lakers and Pelicans and would stay away from the Play-In Tournament with wins tonight.

Let’s get some player props for those teams today.

Like every PrizePicks article, we’ll give out our four-player props from PrizePicks that you can pair to have a 4-Leg Entry Power Play.

A 2-Leg entry Power Play will give you implied odds of -137 for each prop. A 3-leg Entry Power Play will give you implied odds of -141.

However, a 4-leg entry Power Play will give you implied odds of -128 for each bet. Getting -128 on the same prop is better than getting -137 or -141. So we’ll stick to 4-leg entries moving forward.

Remember that a Flex play can still win if one pick misses, but you’d get lower payouts. This is a player prop parlay.

Sunday’s Best PrizePicks Player Predictions

Here are my favorite PrizePicks props for Sunday.

Herbert Jones typically isn’t the leading scorer for the Pelicans. But we don’t need him to be. He’s hit at least 11 points in four of his last five games and has seen nearly 35 minutes per game through four games in April.

Jones has averaged 10.3 shots per game in the month and is shooting 61% from the field. Jones won’t take a bunch of threes, but he’s a capable shooter. In his last four games,s he’s hit 72.7% of threes with 11 threes attempted.

In a game that the Pelicans would love to win, Jones will step up.

We’d love it if it’s Ingram dishing off some assists to Jones. Ingram only averages 5.8 assists per game, but in April, he averaged 8.5 assists through four games.

Ingram has hit at least seven assists in eight of his last ten games. He’s been remarkably consistent for the Pelicans and helped rally them back into playoff contention. He’ll continue to add plenty of assists in today’s game.

Klay Thompson Over 4.5 Threes

Thompson has been incredible from downtown for the Warriors recently. He’s hit at least five threes in six straight games. He’s used a lot of volume recently, taking at least 11 threes in six of his last eight games. But in his most recent game, Thompson only needed eight attempts to nail five threes.

There’s nobody more locked in from downtown than Thompson.

Anthony Davis has nailed 24 or more points in 60% of his last 20 games and 58% of games throughout the season. There’s no bigger moment for the Lakers than tonight. If the Lakers still have a chance to play outside of the play-in. It’s unlikely, but they’ve got a chance.

Right now, Davis is questionable with a foot injury. But what’s going to happen is that the Lakers might start James and Davis. But once they realize in the second half that earning a top-six spot is not possible, James and Davis will sit out the rest of the game and hurt their chances of going over on props. Take Davis’ under.
