The Rangers won the most recent matchup 5-3 on March 14 at The Garden. The Caps have won three straight home games against the Rangers.

The Capitals said at practice yesterday that Trevor van Riemsdyk is dealing with an upper body injury and will be out for about a week. Charlie Lindgren has a non COVID illness. T.J. Oshie has an upper body injury and is day to day.

Sonny Milano who’s recovering from an upper body injury did prance in a regular jersey and was cleared for contact. Per Matt Weyrich of NBC Sports Washington, Oshie and TvR are OUT today while Milano and Matt Irwin will draw back in.
