Newcastle each-way tip: Go Sing ready to hit all the right notes

Beyond the clear favourite, Revolucion, there’s a few to keep our eye on here, with Rainbow Rain looking a major threat on the strength of two wins and two runner-up spots in his last four outings since July.

Hijacked has yet to rekindle former glories this term, but the replacement of his regular claiming jockey with Hollie Doyle looks significant, as it was Doyle who piloted this capable seven-year-old to his last success back in May 2021.

However, catching the collective eye of a whole host of Tipstrr pundits has been bottom-weight Go Sing, who does not seem to bring much in the way of form, but has attracted enough attention in the betting market to send the bookies running for cover by halving his price from the easy 16/1 that was available on Monday night.

Trainer Julie Camacho picked up this five-year-old gelding from the Easterby yard during the winter, and has yet to bring the best out of him in five attempts this term.

However, her stable is clearly producing some top performances, and she backed up two runner-up spots last week by saddling Significantly to the Ayr Gold Cup prize on Saturday.

This race won’t reach those dizzy heights, but if Go Sing has been brought along in similar improving fashion, then he could well produce a career-best performance as he teams up for the first time under Callum Rodriguez, who boasts two winners in his last four rides.
