Newsboy's horse racing selections for Monday's three meetings, including Wolverhampton Nap

Newsboy expects his Nap, Marefuori, to excel at Wolverhampton in the Best Racing Odds Guaranteed At BetMGM Handicap (7.00) and he also rates Tribal Wisdom as a good bet half an hour later at the Dunstall Park track

MAREFUORI is fancied to make the perfect return for 2024 by beating five opponents for the Best Racing Odds Guaranteed At BetMGM Handicap (7.00) at Wolverhampton tonight.

On the back of a third at Epsom, a fifth at Yarmouth and a second at Wolverhampton last summer, the Marco Botti trainee qualified for a handicap mark of 71.

Marefuori marked his nursery debut with a third at Kempton Park last September but went two places better in a similar event over this course and distance a fortnight later, beating Saraha Kitten by a length and three-quarters.

My selection, who has been gelded since his latest start, didn’t match that form with a fourth of five behind Go Daddy at Nottingham in October.

But Marefuori still has more to offer on Tapeta and, with his yard among the winners, should give a good account here.

Half an hour later at Dunstall Park, TRIBAL WISDOM gets the vote to follow up a first career win at Lingfield Park last month by landing the Find More Big Deals At BetUK Handicap (7.30).

Ian Williams’ son of Frankel enjoyed his red-letter day at the expense of two-length runner-up Masqool, who has since upheld the form with a score back at the Surrey venue a week ago.
