Next Tottenham manager: Odds slashed on Ange Postecoglou as new joint-favourites emerge

Spurs have been linked with a host of names in their search for a new head coach while limping towards the end of the season under interim boss Ryan Mason.

Arne Slot is the latest contender to come and go after he opted to extend his contract at Feyenoord having led the Dutch club to the Eredivisie title.

Thomas Tuchel, Mauricio Pochettino and Julian Nagelsmann have all been tipped to potentially lead Tottenham but are not in the frame, two of those managers having found jobs elsewhere.

It means there is something of a mystery as to who will eventually get the job, with Mason not high up on the bookies’ list despite his public eagerness to win the role.

Celtic boss Postecoglou’s odds have tumbled from 25/1 to 4/1 with William Hill, putting him alongside former Leicester coach Rodgers as their new joint-favourites.

Nagelsmann, who Tottenham have reiterated is not a candidate despite recent reports to the contrary, is third at 5/1 before Luis Enrique at 6/1. However, the Spaniard is reportedly nearing a move to take over at Napoli.

Ex-Chelsea manager Graham Potter could yet enter the race, with his odds at 10/1.
