NFL Best Bets: Top Prop Bet Predictions for Week 13 on DraftKings Sportsbook

We have found ourselves in December, which means there are only six more weeks of the regular season left. Soon, we will be without football, so let’s enjoy these last few months while we can and make sure we are winning some bets along the way. The Cowboys and Seahawks got Week 13 off to an amazing start with a combined 76 points on Thursday Night Football. Hopefully, the rest of the games this weekend will follow suit as we take a look at some of my favorite prop bets for this weekend’s action on DraftKings Sportsbook.

OVER Picks

RB Bijan Robinson Over 59.5 Rush Yds (-115)

This is my favorite bet of the weekend, as Bijan’s role in the Falcons offense has been ramping up lately. In the Falcons last two games, he has been given 38 rush attempts, an average of 19 attempts per game. In their first nine games, he only averaged 11.4 rush attempts per game. Arthur Smith has clearly realized what a weapon he has in Bijan and, hopefully, will continue to ride his coattails against the Jets. Robinson has gone over this total in each of his last two games and five times this season. To make this matchup even better, New York is 31st in the NFL against the run, giving up an average of 140.3 rush yards per game.

QB C.J. Stroud Over 1.5 TDs Thrown (-135)

Stroud’s passing prop was money last week, and this weekend, hopefully, he will make us even more money by throwing a couple of touchdown passes. Stroud is tied for 7th in the NFL in passing touchdowns with 19 and has thrown two in each of his last two games. The Texans have played in six home games this year, and Stroud has thrown at least two pass touchdowns in every single home game. To make this bet even more appetizing, the Broncos give up an average of 1.7 pass touchdowns per game, tied for 27th in the NFL.

QB Bryce Young Over 0.5 TD Thrown (-160)

This is one of the lowest odds I have ever seen for just one touchdown, so it felt like a no-brainer. Young is having quite the opposite year that his fellow rookie C.J. Stroud is, but with a prop like this, all it takes is one offensive play to hit the over. Despite struggling so much, Young has thrown nine touchdowns in his ten starts, nearly averaging one per game. Tampa Bay has also given up quite a few pass touchdowns over the season, averaging 1.5 per game. This one could definitely be a sweat, but one pass touchdown at these odds was too much of a deal to pass up.

UNDER Picks

QB Tim Boyle Under 181.5 Pass Yds (-115)

Yet another quarterback prop bet in Week 13, and this time, we are fading the only QB in the NFL who might actually be worse than Zach Wilson. The world will never know how the Jets managed to have both on their roster at the same time. Regardless, Boyle didn’t look great in his first start against Miami, throwing for 179 yards, but most of those were in garbage time when the game was already out of hand. He completed 71% of his passes, but it was check-down city as he averaged 4.7 yards per pass attempt. In the one quarter he played against Buffalo the week before, he averaged 2.4 yards per pass attempt. I feel fairly confident Boyle will continue to throw checkdowns to the running backs and tight ends, ultimately not getting to this prop total.

WR Tyquan Thornton Under 22.5 Rec Yds (-115)

Going back to last year as a rookie, Thornton has played in 17 NFL games but has only gone over this total four times. In the four games he’s appeared in this season, he has yet to go over this total. He’s received 12 targets in his four games this year, only catching five of those for 34 yards. Thornton could very well have a breakout week with a new QB playing for New England in Bailey Zappe, but until he proves he can do it this season, the under is the play here.

TE Brevin Jordan Under 23.5 Rec Yds (-110)

This line does not make a ton of sense to me, as Jordan has appeared in five games this season, only hitting the over on this number once, all the way back in September. In November, he only appeared in one game, last weeks loss to the Jaguars, where he hauled in one of two targets for nine yards. Considering he has six catches for 60 yards this season, I will take the under all day on this one.
