NFL betting: Point spread, over/under for Chargers vs. Jets in Week 9

The Los Angeles Chargers (3-4) are set to meet the New York Jets (4-3) in Week 9 of the 2023 regular season.

Here are the betting odds for the matchup, per BetMGM Sportsbook:

The Chargers are coming off a 30-13 win over the Bears. For the first time all season, Los Angeles played a complete game and didn’t have fans on the edge of their seats. Justin Herbert was phenomenal, completing 31 of 40 pass attempts for 298 yards and three touchdowns. The defense limited the Bears to just 13 points and forced two turnovers.

On the other hand, the Jets are coming off their third-straight win after beating the Giants in a low-scoring affair, 13-10. The Jets held the Giants to negative passing yards. Zach Wilson didn’t play great, but he still orchestrated a 58-yard drive with 24 seconds left in the fourth quarter to set up the game-tying then game-winning field goal.

The last time the Chargers and Jets faced off was in 2020. Los Angeles won, 34-28. L.A. leads the series 23-14-1.

Monday’s contest will begin at 6:15 p.m. PT and be televised on ESPN.
