NFL trade deadline recap, waiver on 'Fantasy Roundup'

This week's edition of "Fantasy Roundup" centered around Tuesday's NFL trade deadline. There weren't many big names dealt before the 3 p.m. cut-off, but there were still a few individuals who could impact how players handle their fantasy teams going forward.

Spencer Urquhart and Gabe Henderson talked about the trades of Josh Dobbs and Donovan Peoples-Jones, as well as a rookie who will be making his second consecutive start on Thursday Night Football. The pair also discussed the Buffalo Bills' signing of former LSU star Leonard Fournette.

Listeners got some air time too as the hosts recapped this week's results in the listener fantasy football league.

The 'Fantasy Roundup' crew also answered many listener questions about team composition, potential trades and waiver wire pickups in the Q&A portion of the show. The hosts named their favorite waiver wire additions ahead of the Tuesday night/Wednesday morning acquisition deadline.

Henderson and Urquhart both recommend picking up rising New Orleans Saints stars. Otherwise, they chose relatively deep dives for their waiver plays, mixed in with some backups. All of the picks — except for one (30.1%) — are owned in less than 30% of fantasy leagues, according to ESPN's database.
