Lions bettors continue to cash winning tickets.

Detroit is tied with the Miami Dolphins for the league’s best against-the-spread record this season at 5-1, and coach Dan Campbell’s team is also tops with a 28-12 ATS mark since 2021.

Playing in Baltimore certainly is a tall task, where the Ravens boast the NFL’s third-best winning percentage (.709 at 90-37) since coach John Harbaugh was hired in 2008.

Covering, though, has proven to be a much tougher proposition for the Birds, who are only 58-66-3 (.468) ATS at home during that same span.

And with Lamar Jackson and the Ravens’ offense still not hitting on all cylinders, we’ll take under-the-radar MVP candidate Jared Goff and the Lions covering at +3.

The same aforementioned home SU/ATS discrepancy has been on display for the Chiefs since QB Patrick Mahomes grabbed the reins in 2018.

During that span, Kansas City is a league-best 43-12 SU at home, but is only 25-27-3 ATS.

Similarly, the Chiefs have won four of the six division matchups with the Chargers since QB Justin Herbert has been at the helm. But, most importantly, the Bolts have covered in five of the six.

We’re expecting more of the same Sunday at Arrowhead, with the K.C. offense much less potent than recent editions.

Sean McVay’s Rams certainly have been better than expected this season at 3-3 SU and 4-1-1 ATS.

But in a week where there are only 13 games total and not many enticing underdogs, we’re going to back to the tried-and-true strategy of going with Mike Tomlin’s Steelers as a dog.

Since the current Pittsburgh coach took command in 2007, the Steelers are a league-best 54-31-5 (.635) ATS as underdogs, including 9-5-1 (.643) since the start of last season.

And with the Steel City crew appearing much healthier coming out of their early Week 6 bye and possessing a pass rush capable of flustering Matthew Stafford and the Rams’ aerial attack, we’ll take Pittsburgh and the points in L.A., where there will be no shortage of Terrible Towels.
