NHL parlay picks Dec. 15: Back the Sharks and Golden Knights in +436 ticket

There are six NHL games on Friday night and this +436 parlay features both underdogs and favourites.

The pregame narrative: The Ottawa Senators play their second game in as many nights against the Dallas Stars. In Arizona, the San Jose Sharks aim to capitalize on a struggling Coyotes squad, while the Vegas Golden Knights aim to extend their winning streak to four.

NHL oddsas of 11:15 a.m. on 12/15/2023.

NHL parlay picks

Parlay: Stars -1.5 + Sharks +1.5 + Golden Knights moneyline (+436)

Stars -1.5 (+123): The Ottawa Senators and Dallas Stars are on different paths this season. While the Stars vie for the top spot in their division, the Sens are trying to crawl out of last in the Atlantic.

After a frustrating loss to St. Louis last night, where the Blues ended a four-game skid with a 4-1 win, the Senators face no relief tonight against a tough Stars team.

Dallas holds a record of 18-6-3 and has scored the eighth-most goals in the NHL (95). On home ice, the Stars are averaging an impressive 3.6 goals per game, according to StatMuse.

The Stars have also covered multi-goal spreads in six of their last nine wins, including a recent 6-3 victory over the Red Wings. Dallas’ offence has been clicking recently with 15 goals in the past three games.

The Senators' goaltending woes should make this a difficult matchup for Ottawa.

Joonas Korpisalo has allowed four or more goals in four of his last five starts, and Anton Forsberg has an .855 save percentage in his last 10 games.

Other parlay picks

Sharks +1.5 (-148): San Jose has been playing much better hockey as of late.

After starting the season with seven straight losses, the Sharks are 6-2-2 in their last 10 games. This includes winning three of the past four, with the only loss coming to the conference-leading Golden Knights.

Tonight, San Jose faces a streaky Coyotes team that's in the midst of a four-game losing skid.

The Coyotes were outscored 18-8 over those four losses, with goalies Connor Ingram and Karel Vejmelka no longer providing the consistency they did earlier this season. It’s unfortunate timing up against the Sharks, who arrive having scored 12 goals in the last three games.

San Jose’s increased offence has helped them cover multi-goal spreads in nine of their last 10 matchups.

Golden Knights moneyline (-235): Finally, the Golden Knights round out this three-leg parlay as heavy favourites against the Buffalo Sabres.

Vegas has looked like a juggernaut so far, boasting a 20-5-5 record with a staggering +32 goal differential. The Sabres face a difficult task ahead against one of the best home teams in the NHL.

The Golden Knights have an 11-2-2 record on home ice, outscoring opponents 50-31 at T-Mobile Arena. Vegas can add to that winning record tonight against a struggling Sabres team.
