NHL Playoff Picture 2022: Wild-Card Hunt and Updated Stanley Cup Odds
Vegas Golden Knights lost 4-0 to Edmonton Oilers on Saturday. They are now three points behind the Los Angeles Kings in the Western Conference playoff race. Calgary Flames, St. Louis Blues and Boston Bruins clinched postseason berths. Colorado Avalanche secured the No. 1 seed in Western conference.
Washington Capitals have a 15-point lead over the New York Islanders. 14 teams in the Eastern Conference have either clinched playoff berths or been eliminated from contention. There are two teams left in play for one playoff spot. Florida Panthers are the top team with 112 points, followed by Toronto Maple Leafs, Carolina Hurricanes, New Yorkers Rangers, and Tampa Bay Lightning. Boston Bruins are third with 97 points. Montreal Canadiens are 51 points out of a possible wild-card spot, while Ottawa Senators are 63 points behind.

Vegas is three points behind the Kings for third place in the Pacific Division and four points off the wild-card spot.
