Nicky Henderson to step Shishkin up in trip

Shishkin was 15 lengths adrift of Alan King-trained winner in the Grade One. It was his first start since disappointing at the Champion Chase at Cheltenham Festival in March. Nicky Henderson wants to step him up in trip for the next race. Sky Bet quotes Shishin for two races outside the Cheltonham Champion Chase. He is also quoted for Ryanair and Boodles Gold Cup. He would be more likely to be in Gold cup than the Champs Chase. The next two-mile race at Chops is over two miles. Shiskin will be over a lot further. There is a Denman Chase as well.
