NL Rookie of the Year betting odds: Four Reds flank Diamondbacks star

If you’re betting on the National League’s Rookie of the Year winner, you might as well just look at the Cincinnati Reds roster.

While Arizona Diamondbacks rookie phenom Corbin Carroll leads the odds with -500, four Red players fill out the rest of the top five.

Cincy’s Elly De La Cruz (+500), Matt McLain (+3000), Spencer Steer (+5000) and Andrew Abbott (+5000) round out the rookie players in the NL who will contend for the prestigious honor.

If you’re looking for one Cincinnati player who could usurp Carroll, it’s De La Cruz, who has the makings of an MLB superstar and has played some phenomenal baseball as of late.

While Carroll might be hard to beat, the Reds have been one of the hottest teams in baseball. It wouldn’t be too surprising if one of the Cincinnati rookies finished strong and jumped Carroll in the odds eventually.
