Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort is experiencing flooding. Minisink Park is completely under water. Monroe and Pike counties received 3 to 5 inches of rain in the past 48 hours. Monroe County had a wet summer, experiencing three tropical storms in less than a month. Stroudsburg had third-wettest August on record. It was followed by Hurricane Ida. The National Weather Service’s Advanced Hydrologic Prediction Service expects the river to crest at 23.1 feet around 2 p.m.
