Notes and Angles: A tip for Chelmsford and five horses for your tracker

Sampers Seven finished second on his return in form that has a solid look. The mare Sound Reason won the race. She missed the whole of last season due to injury. She made a promising return to action at Haydock.

Key Look won at Catterick last Tuesday. She was switched to the centre after a troubled passage against the far rail. Key Look dropped a 1lb for the run and is well handicapped now.

Lakota Blue finished second to Sound Pressure at Haydock. Sioux Nation has made an excellent start to his stallion career. Lakota is green but should improve. He could be set for a good season for Nigel Tinkler.

Roxzoff won the last-time-out handicap at Sandown last week. Roxz off has a 6lbs rise in the handicapper's rating. Two Tempting is consistent and should remain competitive. Third home Sip And Smile is going the right way and looks to have more to offer. Be Lucky My Son improved by the run last year and is entitled to take a step forward for this reappearance. Super Lover has pedigree that suggests a mark of 78 should be workable. Ar El Bee kept on from the back and will improve when up in trip.
