Notre Dame QB Tyler Buchner to Undergo Surgery on Shoulder Injury; Out 4 Months
Tyler Buchner will undergo shoulder surgery on Tuesday. He will miss four months. Drew Pyne will likely take over under center for the remainder of the 2022 season. Marcus Freeman's team is off to its first 0-2 start since 2011. Brian Kelly's replacement has lost each of his first three games as a head coach. The team has fallen out of Top 25. The Irish had just one losing record in Kelly’s 12 seasons at the helm.
