NRL grand final 2022: Time, tickets, date, schedule, how to watch, odds

Parramatta Eels could win a double premiership on Sunday. Their men's and women's teams play Penrith Panthers and Newcastle Knights at Sydney's Accor Stadium. It's a chance for the men’s team to end their 36-year premierships drought. The women's team is making their grand final debut. Pen rith are aiming to become the first club to win four grand finals in a year.

The NRL grand final between the Penrith Panthers and Parramatta Eels starts at 7.30pm on Sunday, October 2 at Sydney’s Accor Stadium. The NRLW grand finals between Parramsatta and Newcastle will kick off at 3.55pm.

The NRL grand final is broadcast on Nine and 9Now at 7am. The Herald will have every angle of the action on and off the field covered with our live blog beginning at 12.30pm. Mat Thompson will call the grand finals. Danika Mason, Allana Ferguson and Emma Lawrence will cover the sidelines for all three games.

How to get to the game? Pre-book parking. Take public transport. Express and limited-stop trains to Olympic Park will run frequently from the Central and Western Line stations.

Penrith Panthers play Parramatta Eels in the NRL grand final 2022. Panthers have won 20 games, lost 4, and had a points differential of +306. Eel's have had 16 wins, 8 losses, with a point differential +119.

The Panthers are the reigning champions. They have won two of their three clashes against Parramatta this year. The other one was a thumping 34-10 victory. Parrajatta's strength is their offload to change of angle. Nathan Brown is set to return for the grand final after 12 weeks out of the game.

Newcastle Knights play Parramatta Eels in NRLW. Knights have won 4 games and lost 1. Eelstans have lost 4 times.

The Eels beat the Roosters 24-10 in the semi-final on Sunday. Dean Widders' team has won just one of five games this season. The Knights finished their inaugural campaign earlier this year with no wins. It's uncertain if Tiana Penitani will play in grand final. The team signed past premiership winners Millie Boyle, Tamika Upton and Yasmin Clydsdale.
