NY Islanders 2022-23 player preview: Anthony Beauvillier

The NY Islanders are betting on their forwards this season. They went to the Eastern Conference Finals in 2020 and 2021. Anthony Beavuvillier is expected to have a breakout season in 2022-23.

Anthony Beauvillier signed a three-year, $12.45 million contract with the New York Islanders. Last season he scored 12 goals and 22 assists in 75 games. He scored three more goals in 28 fewer games in the prior season. Beauvilleer has yet to break the 40-point plateau. Lane Lambert will take over the Islanders' coaching duties. He will be depending on Beauvilier to contribute to the offense. If he can provide 55-60 points, he will justify his contract. The Islanders will still be a defensive team with a little more offensive prowess.
