NYRA to host Belmont Stakes job fair

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (NEWS10) — The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) will be hosting a job fair on February 21 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. for the Belmont Stakes Racing Festival at Saratoga Race Course. This event is open to applicants 15 and up with New York State-certified working papers.

Jobs like restaurant staff, betting clerks, cashiers, cleaners, merchandise clerks, security guards, and more are up for grabs. All applicants should bring a photo ID and social security card or I-9 alternative to be considered.

For jobs like a security guard, betting clerk, and cashier, the applicant must be 18 years old. For security guard positions, the applicant should have a high school diploma or GED.

The Belmont Stakes job fair will be held on the first floor of the 1863 Club at the Saratoga Race Course. Those in attendance should enter through the Wright Street entrance where there will be parking available in the 1863 Club lot.

The Belmont Stakes Racing Festival will be held at Saratoga Race Course from June 6 to June 9. This festival being held here will allow for the uninterrupted construction of Belmont Park down in Long Island.
