Ohio State football glance at Week 11 opponent Indiana Hoosiers

Ohio State lost to Northwestern on Saturday. Indiana Hoosiers are last in the Big Ten West.

The Hoosiers are tied with Rutgers for last place in the East Division. They have lost 13 out of their last 14 conference games since being the surprise of the season in 2020.

Ohio State football team is 9-0 and will play Indiana Hoosiers on Saturday at noon.

Ohio State did not drop in either of the major polls after its ugly win. The College Football Playoff selection committee's treatment of Buckeyes won't be known until late Tuesday.

Ohio State is favored by as many as 41 points against Indiana.

Indiana lost 45-14 to Penn State in their last game. It was their sixth consecutive defeat since a 3-0 start.

Indiana has forced 10 fumbles this season. Aaron Casey and Noah Pierre lead the way with two forced fumbled apiece. The Hoosiers have recovered five of those fumbling.

Indiana ranks last in rush offense in the Big Ten and in Football Bowl Subdivision. Shaun Shivers has only once surpassed 100 yards rushing once in a game this fall.

Dasan McCullough is a freshman linebacker for Indiana. He has four sacks and 5.5 tackles for loss. Indiana plays Ohio State in the season finale on Saturday.

Indiana's offense is faster and more efficient under Walt Bell. It's a type of offense Jim Knowles faced often in the Big 12.

The Buckeyes haven't lost to the Hoosiers since 1988. They are currently riding a 27-game winning streak in the series. Indiana gave Ohio State a scare when it last visited Columbus two years ago.
