Ohio State opens as +700 second-favorite in 2024 national championship odds

Georgia is the current CFP champion. Ohio State is second favorite in 2024 CFB championship odds. Georgia lost five first-round picks in the NFL draft this year. The team will have to replace many of its most important players from last year's team.  Ohio State will replace quarterback C.J. Stroud. Kyle McCord is expected to succeed Stoud under center. He will be followed by either Brock Vandagriff or Carson Beck. Michigan and USC are also in top five. They are the defending champions. No team has won back-to-back CFC national championships since Minnesota in 1936.
