Ohio State's Tommy Eichenberg named Big Ten Co-Defensive Player of the Week
No. 3 Ohio State beat Wisconsin 52-21 last week. Tommy Eichenberg was named the Big Ten Co-Defensive Player of the Week. Iowa's Kaevon Merriweather and Michigan's Blake Corum were named Co -Offensive Players of The Week for the previous weekend's games. The Buckeyes' last Defensive Player-of-The-Week was Tommy Togiai in November 2020. The senior and captain leads the defense with 33 total tackles and is tied for team lead with five tackles for a loss and two sacks. He has thrived under new defensive coordinator Jim Knowles.
