Oi oi oi! Darts fans don selection of brilliant fancy dress as World Championships get underway at Ally Pally
The PDC World Championships got underway at Alexandra Palace this evening. The event is famous for its fancy dress. Michael van Gerwen is the overwhelming favourite to retain his title. Steve Beaton, James Wilson and Gerwyn Price are already through. Phil Taylor will play his final tournament at Ally Pally before retiring. He will face Chris Dobey on Friday night. There will be a four-day break for Christmas. Final will take place on New Year's Day. It will feature Michael Van Gerwen and Gary Anderson.
