  • The main event of UFC 292 is a bantamweight title fight between champion Aljamain Sterling and top contender Sean O’Malley. Sterling has won his last nine fights in a row including a split decision win over former champion Henry Cejudo in his last fight. As for O’Malley, he is coming off of one of the biggest wins of his career when he defeated Petr Yan via split decision. Against Sterling, O’Malley figures to be in tough against a superior grappler. But if he is able to keep this fight standing, then he would absolutely have a chance to pull off the upset. Still, with Sterling having superior grappling and being the champ, he deserves to be favored to win this.
  • In the co-main event, we have Weili Zhang against Amanda Lemos for the UFC women’s strawweight title. Zhang is coming off two straight wins, while Lemos is coming off two straight victories in her own right. Zhang is the champion of the division, so it makes sense that she is favored to win this fight. But Lemos is a hard-hitting fighter with nasty submission skills, and you can’t count her out of winning this fight, although the opening odds lean heavily to Zhang.
