Operators Share Vermont Sports Betting Launch Promotions

The wait is nearly over for those anticipating the launch of Vermont sports betting, as legal betting apps will go live in the state at 12:01 a.m. ET on Thursday.

Bettors will have access to three wagering platforms: DraftKings, Fanatics Sportsbook, and FanDuel. The launch comes ahead of the first round of the NFL playoffs and during the NBA and NHL regular seasons. 

The operators are offering various specials, promotions, and bonuses to customers in Vermont, and one of them even has a Boston Celtics-themed “Super Boost” that is guaranteed to be a winning bet. Let’s break down the promotions offered by the three operators.

FanDuel’s multiple offers

FanDuel offers Vermont sports bettors arguably the best assortment of promotions of any of the three operators going live in the state.

All FanDuel customers will receive $200 in bonus bets after they place an initial bet of at least $5. Customers need to initially deposit at least $10 to take advantage of the offer. Once bettors receive their bonus bets, it’s important to use them before they expire — FanDuel gives customers one week to use their bonus bets.

FanDuel will also have a “Super Boost” on Thursday, which essentially gives bettors an automatic win. Customers can wager a maximum of $50 that there will be at least one point scored in Thursday’s Celtics-Bucks game. The market will be offered at +100 odds.

Additionally, FanDuel has a pre-launch offer that runs until midnight Wednesday. Customers can register in Vermont before the sportsbook’s official launch and receive $100 in bonus bets. Those who take advantage of the pre-launch registration offer and the post-launch promotion can receive a total of $300 in bonus bets from FanDuel.

Fanatics Sportsbook’s bonus bet offer

Fanatics Sportsbook will offer its “bet $50+, get $200 in bonus bets” promotion in Vermont, like it does for most new state launches.

The promotion is spread across the first five days the customer is betting in Vermont. If a bettor places a $10 wager on the first day of using the promotion and the bet cashes, they receive the winnings from that bet. If the bet loses, customers receive up to $40 in bonus bets. This continues for five consecutive days.

So, in total, a bettor who wagers $10 each day for five consecutive days can receive up to $200 in bonus bets.

DraftKings’ pre-launch special

DraftKings has yet to announce official post-launch Vermont offers, but the operator does have a pre-launch special available for customers.
