Desert Hero ( 9/2 ) won the Gordon Stakes at Glorious Goodwood in August and could bid to give William Haggas a St Leger winner in the Royal silks of King Charles.

When is the St Leger Festival?

The St Leger Festival takes place from Thursday 14th-Sunday 17th September, with four days of high-class racing spearheaded by the St Leger itself on the Saturday afternoon.

It is staged at the Doncaster Racecourse in South Yorkshire, and it’s often said that: 'The fastest horse wins the Guineas; the luckiest the Derby – and the best horse wins the St Leger' – but who will be victorious in the Doncaster showpiece this time around?

· Where a stake has been partially Cashed Out, only the remaining active stake will count.

· Where a bet has been edited using our Edit Bet feature, only the new stake on the new bet will count.

· Fully Cashed Out, Instant Games, Gaming, Free Bets, void bets, In-Play bets which are settled as a push or Fantasy Sports entries will not count.

5. Your Bet Credits are non-withdrawable, and Bet Credits stakes are not included in any returns. Any returns from Bet Credits placed will be added to your Withdrawable Balance. Your Bet Credits will be forfeit and removed if your account is inactive for 90 consecutive days.

1. Free Bet will be available to use by 12:00 UK Time on Friday 15th September 2023. You will be sent communications to advise when this is available to use.
2. Your Free Bet will be available to use as the stake when you add a qualifying selection to the bet slip for a qualifying race. To determine which selection uses the Free bet, select the ‘Use Free Bet’ option next to that selection. Your Free Bet will expire if not used on one of the qualifying races.
3. Any returns from a Free Bet will be added to your withdrawable balance but your Free Bet stake is not included in any returns.
