Pac-12 college football Week 9 score predictions, odds: Will Ducks, Beavers win on the road?

From the showdown in Salt Lake City to the battle after dark in the desert, it’s a big Saturday across the Pac-12 college football landscape.

The Week 9 action begins early in the afternoon in Salt Lake, where the No. 8 Oregon Ducks visit the 13th-ranked Utah Utes in a matchup of one-loss teams at Rice-Eccles Stadium. (Of course, the excitement will be building starting before dawn, with ESPN “College GameDay” in Salt Lake ahead of the game.)

Then there’s the tilt in Berkeley between the No. 24 USC Trojans and the California Golden Bears.

At 5 p.m., the Washington State Cougars hope for a get-right game against the Arizona State Sun Devils, who are looking to break through with their first conference victory.

Finally, the 11th-ranked Oregon State Beavers visit Arizona in a Pac-12 After Dark affair in Tucson.

The point spread in each of these games is 10 points or fewer, so perhaps there are some thrillers in store.

Elsewhere, fifth-ranked Washington travels to Stanford and No. 23 UCLA plays host to Deion Sanders’ Colorado Buffaloes.

Check out this week’s Pac-12 odds, plus score predictions from the college football coverage team at The Oregonian/OregonLive.
