Paddy Madden interview: Striker on 'sleeping giant' Stockport's rise and beating Wrexham to National League title

Paddy Madden moved to Stockport County last March. He scored 23 goals in his first full season with the club. Last season Stockton won the National League title and promotion. The team started the season slowly, but they are now in the play-off places.   The show Welcome to Wrexham has been watched by millions around the world. Madden was sent off in September. His team won just two of their first 11 games. They are currently in mid-table. It takes time for a team to gel. But they have a lot of talent. Paddy is proud of his achievements. he missed three games in Sept. after a self-inflicted suspension.
