League 2 Top Scorer Odds 22/23: Paddy Madden tipped to fire County to promotion

League Two kicks off on Saturday with a full raft of 3pm kick-offs. Paddy Madden is the league favourites to score the most goals. Most bookmakers are offering four places each-way at 1/4 odds on this market.

Paddy Madden is a veteran of the lower leagues. He played for Carlisle, Yeovil, Scunthorpe and Fleetwood before joining Edgeley Park in 2021. Last season he scored 23 goals in the National League and the first goal in their 2-0 win over FC Halifax Town secured the league title. County are favourites for the League 2 title and Madden has been tipped to be their top scorer.

Dominic Telford won the Golden Boot last season for Newport County. He has signed a three-year contract with Crawley Town. The two sides were split by just one position in 2021/22.

Harry McKirdy had his break out season in 2021, netting 23 goals in 44 games for new club Swindon and scoring two goals against his former club Port Vale in the play-off semi final. Unfortunately, he missed his penalty in a shoot-out against Vale.

Oliver has scored 31 goals in 93 games since joining Gillingham. He is expected to score more goals with Bradford. Matthew Stevens, Jamille Matt, David Keillor-Dunn, Aaron Collins and Matt Jay are all playing in League One this year.
