Padres reporter proposes wild Fernando Tatis Jr. position change

Fernando Tatis Jr. was suspended for 80 games in 2022 after he tested positive for a performance-enhancing substance. He didn't play a game in the 2022 season due to a broken wrist and a motorcycle accident.

Fernando Tatis Jr. made 22 errors at shortstop in 2021. Ha-Seong Kim played at short in his place this season. Jake Cronenworth and Manny Machado could be moved to first base. Trent Grisham is a good center fielder. Juan Soto could play left and right field. Jurickson Profar could return to left field if he's healthy.  Kevin Agee of the San Diego Union-Tribune proposes a position change for Tat is Jr., but we're not opposed to the Padres keeping their options open.
