Pakenham Racing Tips & Best Value Bets

Friday night racing returns to Pakenham this Friday with a competitive 10-race program. The track is currently rated Heavy 9. More rain is forecast for the east of Victoria over Thursday and Friday. Racing starts at 5:10 pm AEDT.

Head First is looking for her third win at her ninth start in the Benchmark 64 Handicap over 1400m. Daniel Moor should be able to get her into the one-one or just outside the lead. Head First has only won on rain affected tracks in her short career.

Leon & Troy Corstens will bring their five-year-old gelding, Netanyahu, back to the races after a six month spell in race five on Friday night over 1200 in a Benchmark 64. Netanyahu has been a good money spinner for his owners, running in the top three at nine of his 13 careers starts to date.

Sweet ‘N’ Spicy won her maiden race over 1200m at Mornington on October 17. Matthew Cartwright should be able to get her into a good position around midfield and she will be rounding them up late to record her second win.
