Pakenham Synthetic tips: Rising to continue rise

Ciaron Maher and David Eustace will give the talented galloper Rising another start on a synthetic track at Thursday’s Pakenham meeting.

Rising impressed at his first start on the synthetic last time. He has a tricky gate but has the quality to score again.

Grand Pierro improved sharply when not far away at big odds in town last time. Grand Piero is up another 100m in trip and should run well again.

RUNNING CLOUD (Race 7 No. 3 – $6) is expected to improve at Pakenham Synthetic meeting. Jamie Kah has five rides at Thursday's public holiday Pkenham meeting and he's expecting good results.

Turf Flyer is back after a spell on the synthetic and ran well in a good form race first-up last time in.
