PB Lawrence Stakes day at Caulfield Tips, Race Previews and Selections

This Saturday at Caulfield there are four black-type races on the card. The P.B. Lawrence Stakes is the highlight. Doncaster Mile winner Mr Brightside, I Am Superman and Scallopini are also on this Saturday's card at the Caufield meeting.

Chief Altony has been up for a while but he does look well-placed stepping out over the mile again. The son of Rebel Raider was beaten by all-the-way winner Lackeen at The Valley a fortnight ago. Craig Williams will be in the saddle for the race.

Americain Angel is set to peak in her fourth run back for Danny O'Brien. Damian Lane sticks and if he can offset the wide gate early, they will be right in this race.

PB Lawrence Stakes day at Caulfield tips and previews. Race 3 is Fierce Impact Breed Elite in 2022 (1100m). Jye McNeil will ride She's All Class.

I am backing I Am Bene for the Handicap at Caulfield. Ben Melham will drive her.

Cannonball is looking for his hat-trick in Group 3 Stow Storage Solutions Vain Stakes (1100m) at Caulfield. The son of Capitalist won his maiden first-up at Geelong back in March and then the Redoute’s Choice at the Caufield track two weeks later. Mark Zahra will be back riding him.

Miss Roseiano is going to win the Group 3 Neds Quezette Stakes (1100m) at Caulfield. Mark Zahra takes the reins for the first time.

Showmanship hasn't done a lot of racing over the last couple of years. He's only returned to the scene at the ‘Bool back in May. Showmanship has two wins and a place to his name.

Mr Brightside looks well-placed to make a winning return to the races. Lindsay Park-trained five-year-old won the Doncaster back in April. Craig Williams will ride him first-up.

Incredulous Dream is a nice each-way bet in the Millennium Services Group Handicap (1400m) at Caulfield. Press Statement mare ran on fairly at Flemington first-up three weeks ago.
