Pegasus: Proxy, Simplification, Double Crown Among Early Hopefuls For $3 Million Race
Trainer Michael Stidham wants to make his next start in Gulfstream's $3 million Pegasus World Cup Invitational on January 28th. Trainer Antonio Sano is optimistic about the winter season at Gulf Stream Park. Simplification and Double Crown could be headed for a return to South Florida for the Pegasus. Double crown upset the one-mile Kelso at odds of 42-1 at Belmont Park at Aqueduct. The 5-year-old Bourbon Courage gelding is entered in Saturday's Cigar Mile at aqueductive. The horse was trained by Dean Reeves and sent to Kathy Ritvo at the summer of 2020.
