Penn State vs. Ole Miss Peach Bowl odds: Opening odds, point spread, total for College Football Playoff semifinal

The Penn State Nittany Lions will face the Ole Miss Rebels in the Peach Bowl on December 30. The game will kick off at noon ET from Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia.

Penn State (10-2) put together a season that would be respectable by nearly all measures, except that they failed to win either of their two biggest games yet again. In the final year of the Big Ten East, Ohio State and Michigan continued to rule, and the Nittany Lions failed to make much of a splash against either powerhouse. However, they grabbed wins over Maryland and eventual Big Ten runner-up Iowa. Quarterback Drew Allar finished the season with over 2,300 passing yards, 23 touchdowns, and just one interceptiom.

Ole Miss (10-2) may not have defeated Alabama and Georgia, the two teams that recently faced off in the SEC Championship, but they did grab a huge win over LSU midway through the season that boosted their ranking. They snuck by Auburn and Arkansas for a respectable finish to the season. Quarterback Jaxson Dart passed for over 2,900 yards, 20 touchdowns, and five interceptions, and running back Quinshon Judkins rushed for over 1,000 yards and 15 touchdowns.

Spread: Penn State -3.5
