It’s fair to say that Chris Dobey wasn’t really in the conversation for the Premier League, but a run to the quarter-finals of the PDC World Darts Championship followed by his first TV tournament victory at the recent Masters cemented his place in the darting roadshow. He opens up against former two-time world champion Peter Wright, who has a surprisingly poor record in this event.
