It was only a matter of time before a super card was produced following the purchase of Bellator MMA from the Professional Fighters League. Both organizations are ready to create an event for the ultimate bragging rights. 

A PFL and Bellator card featuring champion vs. champion contests will take place on February 24. In Saudi Arabia, the event will be on ESPN+ PPV in the U.S. and DAZN in the U.K. Part of Riyadh Season, the card is the first major MMA event in the Saudi region. 

"The Middle East is the fight capital of the world, and the Professional Fighters League is proud to bring the world’s best combat sports stars to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for Riyadh Season to host the first-ever PFL PPV Super Fight mega-global event," said PFL CEO Peter Murray. Winners from the 2023 PFL tournament face off against current Bellator champions. That includes matchups like: 

  • PFL heavyweight champion Renan Ferreira vs. Bellator heavyweight champion Ryan Bader
  • PFL light heavyweight champion Impa Kasanganay vs. Bellator middleweight champion Johnny Eblen 
  • PFL featherweight champion Jesus Pinedo vs. Bellator featherweight champion Patricio "Pitbull" Freire
  • PFL welterweight champion Magomed Magomedkerimov vs. Bellator welterweight champion Jason Jackson

Also on the card will be former champions and contenders Bruno Cappelozza, Vadim Nemkov, Thiago Santos, Yoel Romero, Clay Collard, and AJ McKee. Hard-hitting Aaron Pico is also in action, while Muhammad Ali’s grandson Biaggio Ali Walsh makes his pro debut.

Boxing champion Claressa Shields competes on the card, putting away boxing gloves for MMA ones.

When is PFL vs. Bellator MMA?

The event is on February 24. The prelims start at 12 p.m. ET while the main card airs at 3 p.m. ET. The main event for PFL vs. Bellator should start around 6:15 p.m. ET, depending on how long the undercard fights last.

How to watch PFL vs. Bellator MMA

In the U.S., PFL vs. Bellator airs on ESPN+ PPV. Fight fans can watch the event on DAZN in the U.K.

The prelims will air on ESPN+ and ESPN News.
