Phil Cole Doubles Up At Winton As Faith And Love Wins Final Race

Phil Cole won a double at the North Gregory Turf Club’s meeting at Winton on Saturday. Faith And Love won her final race before retiring at Willow Park Stud in the NSW Hunter Valley. She had 41 career starts for six wins, seven seconds and 11 thirds. In her 17 starts in Northern Territory, she won only once. She was placed on seven occasions at Darwin”s Fannie Bay and one at Alice Springs and Katherine. Her best result was a fourth in Alice Spring Cup Day on May 1. Before that she had a win over 800m at Birdsville track in outback Queensland on April 11.
