Phillies Hold The Best WS Odds After Game Two Win

After a pretty gruesome performance by the Diamondbacks in game two of the NLCS, the Phillies became the favorite to win it all.  Phillies handed Arizona a 10-0 loss on Tuesday night, going up 2-0 on the series. Luckily for the Diamondbacks, the series is headed home.

Phillies Top the Boards with +125 Odds

Philadelphia climbed the ranks after back to back impressive offensive performances.  The Phillies held the second best odds to win it all heading into the championship round, behind the Astros. The Rangers also jumped the Astros after they went up 2-0 in their respective series. Texas holds +155 odds to win it all.

Arizona’s Odds plummeted

After going down 2-0 Arizona got the worst of it. The Diamondbacks have staggering odds at +1300. Even the Astros being down 2-0 haven’t broke the +500 threshold. In my opinion, it’s because of the losses they took. Losing 10-0 in the playoffs is never a good look. The Astros are going on the road for three games.

Is there a bright side for the Diamondbacks?

short answer, yes. The Diamondbacks are at home for the next three games. I don’t know if you have looked at ticket prices for game three, but they are very low. The Diamondbacks organization is doing everything they can to sell out Chase Field. If Diamondbacks fans can bring it like Philly, which is a big if, they can stand a chance. Taking away something that, when at home, is huge for Phillies and transferring it against them. That can help the Diamondbacks.
