Phillies vs. Braves: Early Odds and Preview for NLDS After Wild Card

Philadelphia beat St. Louis Cardinals in the National League Wild Card round. The Phillies play Atlanta in National league Division Series starting on Tuesday. Atlanta won the NL East by sweeping the New York Mets in final week of the season. The best-of-five series is scheduled to take place over six days.

Phillies play Atlanta in the NLDS starting on Tuesday, October 11th. Game 2 is on Wednesday, October 12th, Game 3 is Friday, Oct. 14th and Game 4 is Saturday, if necessary, on October 15th or Sunday, 17th October at Atlanta.

Phillies and Braves are playing in the NLDS. Game 1 is on Tuesday. The series will be decided next Sunday. Zach Wheeler and Aaron Nola are the team's best pitchers. Ranger Suarez is the third starter. Kyle Gibson and Noah Syndergaard are not good enough to be considered. Atlanta's pitchers have the experience. Spencer Strider is injured. He will have to wait to see if he will make the roster. If necessary, he could be used in Game 4.

Atlanta won the NLDS against Philadelphia. The Braves are better offensive team than the St. Louis Cardinals. They won four NLCS and World Series games by scoring five or more runs. St Louis scored two or fewer runs on eight occasions in the final 15 regular-season games. In the Wild Card series, they scored just three runs versus the Phillies.

Bryce Harper went 2-for-4 on Saturday and is on a hot streak. The Phillies need him to keep it up in the postseason. Kyle Schwarber, Rhys Hoskins and J.T. Realmuto will also have to do their best. The team with the most talent is Atlanta. They are the No. 6 seed in MLB. Phillies are No No 6.
